A3 Optical Document Camera for Everyday Classroom Use
The FT-F703 is an A3 optical document camera based on a 1/2.8" 2‑megapixel CMOS sensor with 12x optical and 10x digital zoom. It is designed to clearly display textbooks, worksheets and small objects placed under the camera on large classroom screens. Automatic and manual focus modes help keep text and diagrams sharp when switching between full-page overviews and close-up details.
A3 Shooting Area with Flexible Zoom Control
Covering A3 and below, the FT-F703 allows full exam sheets, open textbooks and teaching handouts to be shown in a single view. Teachers can quickly move from the entire page to local details using the optical and digital zoom, making it easier for students to follow step-by-step explanations, reading passages and worked examples from any seat.
Built-In Software for PC-Free Annotation and Playback
When connected directly to a monitor, projector or interactive flat panel via HDMI or VGA, the FT-F703 can be controlled with a USB mouse without a computer. Its built-in software supports real-time annotation, auto-focus, zoom in/out, image rotation, freeze, brightness adjustment and other common classroom functions. Teachers can also capture images and record videos with on-screen playback, enabling simple PC-free lesson presentation and review.
Multiple Interfaces and Local Storage Options
The FT-F703 provides HDMI and VGA outputs (up to 1920×1080@60Hz, plus 1280×1024 and 1024×768@60Hz), as well as AUDIO in/out for integration with classroom AV systems. A USB 2.0 Type‑B (UVC) port connects to Windows® computers, while two USB Type‑A ports and storage support allow saving images and videos directly to USB flash drives or TF cards up to 128GB. This makes it easy to move teaching materials between different classrooms.
Visualizer Software Support for Advanced PC-Based Teaching
When connected to a Windows® 7/8/10/11 computer, the FT-F703 works with Phantrue Visualizer software. Teachers can use the Live Camera, Video, Scan and Comparison modules for detailed annotation, lesson recording with the built-in microphone, document scanning and side-by-side comparisons. Combined with its A3 coverage and PC-free operation, the FT-F703 offers a flexible solution for both traditional and hybrid classrooms.
